It’s really sad. A lot of my favourite webcomics have gone the way of the disappearing… thing… that disappeared (man, am I burned out or what?) and it’s a true shame. I sincerely read every comic on my links page, and it’s really too bad that some of the most interesting, funny, and/or insightful comics I’ve come across. So, I’m putting my links page up to date, removing those which have not updated in a while. Thus, before they go for good, I give them one last hurrah.
- Zxipi : one of the most insane comics ever made. I really preferred it when it was in its original black and white format, but the longer colour strips made for some incredible moments.
- Blak : A perfectly sick little low-style Flash animated comic which always amused me in a dark way. Lots of fun.
- Snail Dust : I don’t know if Jenny will ever return to making her perfect little comic. If it does, it’ll be back on my list.
No Pants Tuesday : Earliest stuff is best. You should check out this guest art moment over there.
- Hotel Grim : I miss Chris Harrell.
- Mad World Comics : DAMN IT, DAMN IT, DAMN IT! This was one of the funniest, mean, and absurd comcis on the web. What a loss.
- Pokey The Penguin : You’re never too sure when Pokey might jump back. But it’s been a mightly while since we’ve seen anything close to Mr. Nutty. Kind of like Burke’s The Grimbles. They’ll stay up there… just in case.
Well, good-bye to them all… if you have any suggestions of new comics to check out, why don’t you let me know?
Oh, and I started this new Tasteful Future thing that you would be inclined to check out, and stuff.
