Did you successfully figure out what the three comic references were? If you didn’t, it’s too late now, since it’s time to give out the answers.

1. Bottom left of the panel is a Pac Man ghost, which I had put there in tribute to Mark Gerrits’ exquisitely random Ghostz. It’s still so amazing and so bloody inspired. Where are you Gerrits?

2. About three quarters up the right side of the door is Bess’ phone number from Look What I Brought Home. It was a bit of a gag in the series to have Bess’ number show up on walls and stuff, so why not here?

3. And finally, bottom right, is a part of the word Pentasmal, which was one of my favourite comics of the period, which ultimately inspired me to try my luck at Gluemeat. Damn Keenspot for making the archives pay-only.
