Case's Notes

As you can tell, this is pretty much the first comic that Horse stopped looking like a sock puppet and started to adopt his final look. In actuality, you can already tell that I was getting more confident with my pen strokes, as shapes became more defined. Or at least, as defined as the scribbly sketch style permitted it.

I know perfectly well that the changes that were upcoming in AWR were due to reading more and more webcomics on the web, especially BoxJam's Doodle. For some bizarre reason, despite us doing very different comics with very different intentions, I always remained attached to the Blue Guy. I guess it was primarily because of the simplistic art style which had inspired me in the first place. But in fact, I think it's because BoxJam had the comic I wished I could do.
