Case's Notes

I was starting to contemplate going on a more regular schedule at this point. Yeah, already. I was, after all, updating on a very irregular basis, because it was all part of that "F-U" mentality. But I was exchanging more and more emails with a select few other cartoonists (i.e. those who didn't chastize me too quickly) who were selling me on the idea of a simple formula:

Regular update schedule < Audience knowing when to come read = Increased readership.

But the question one may ask oneself, is if the whole idea was to shock readers and give the big old "screw you" to everyone, why care about how many people read your comic? I guess the answer I gave myself at that point was that I wanted to be able to shock as many people as possible. But I was just lying to myself about that. Like I was lying to myself about considering pizza as a well-balanced meal.

Comments!

Are you saying pizza is not a well-balanced meal?

No, I'm saying pizza is not a well-balanced meal.

Heads up, Case - under the "Comments" section, you can get forward enough to this comic, but if you just go to http://www.gluemeat.com/awr/ it goes to the one before that, without a "forward" link.

Sure about that, Walrus? I came in through http://www.gluemeat.com/awr/ and the right comic popped up. Maybe you need to refresh/reload or empty you cache or something.
