There are people who think that everything is a conspiracy, and usually tend to think that the moon landing was shot in a Pittsburgh basement, too. These numbers are staggering one way or another. Take Rwanda, for example. The Wikipedia article states that between 800,000 to 1,071,000 people died. Does it make it more tragic that a million people died than if eight hundred thousand did? It's already tragic that people had to lose their lives in such a senseless affair. Even if it had "only" been 10 people, it would have been 10 too much. Isn't it just good sense to question information? I mean, we sit and berate Routers and Fox for mis-informing us on the War-on-Terror™, but we don't question the notion that this type of mis-information and propaganda was rife back in the thirties and forties. I mean, if I believed everything I heard about World War 2 then I'd be under the impression that Daffy Duck played a substantial part in Smacking Hitler around.
