Iceland

People from Iceland should be referred to as "Icies."

Good morning fellow Gluemeaties!

First and foremost this morning, friends, I have a tremendously huge announcement. I mean, big. Real big.

Ladies and gentlemen, BoxJam and I have made up.

Yes indeed, we had a public reconciliation where he and I decided to put our differences aside and try to move on. A lot has been said and drawn between us, but we hope that, regardless, we can serve as an example of peace and understanding of which someone could contact us to write a book about, followed by an inspiring made-for-TV movie. One can only hope.

So I suggest you go visit BoxJam’s Doodle today with peace and content in your heart. He would like that. And so would I.

As for my birthday, fellow Gluemeaties, I received a good haul of cards which made me very happy. They all mostly came in during the course of the week thanks to the bad weather we got and the newbie-ness of our new mail carrier. Yet, I was very happy and thrilled to get the cards (and gifts!) which I will all share with you in the course of upcoming Meatgrind entries to the site. That will make the lot of you who did not send anything green with envy. GREEN.

    Hmm…Iceland is very nice and Greenland is filled with Ice…or so the saying goes.

    This one time, a German coughed on me and I told him he was sick. Then he yelled something unintelligible at me and I called him a savage and derided his culture. It was the best Valentine’s Day ever.

    Unfortunately, the saying is only half-right. Greenland is full of ice, and Iceland is full of ice and volcanos.
