Happy Labour Day, fellow Gluemeaties!
As you may have already noticed, I will be participating in the Hurricane Katrina Reflief Webcomic Telethon which will be taking place September 13 and 14. I’ve been discussing Katrina a great deal in my weblog, so my opinions about what’s going on are clear: it’s a terrible disaster which was made worse through human shortsightedness and ineptitude. People are suffering needlessly and require whatever hope which can be sent their way.
Kudos to Brad Guigar for setting the thing up and asking me to participate. Hopefully, if you haven’t already, you’ll find it in your hearts to give some money so that survivors can get whatever assistance they need down the road. There’s not much your money can do in the immediate short term - only direct government aid can help; and we all know how well that’s going.
Oops. The rants are for that other place. Sorry. But I do hope you all drop by for the Telethon in a few days. There will be tons of talented webcomic artists there, and Boxjam.
I love you, Orange.
And that, Ladies and Jerks, is why I remain a confirmed bachelor.
Because women are stupid.
You’re a guy?
Bachelorette?
Bachelorette?
You’re a gay woman?
Totally hot.
“Hawt” is the preferred term.
So is that supposed to be a mispronunciation of “hot” or getting lazy and leaving the “y” off of “haughty”?
