Trapped
Fellow Gluemeaties, hello! Look who’s back! It’s me! Case Yorke, out from the depths of a really busy month of June and back into full control of Gluemeat. Despite what you may gather from the picture, it wasn’t all hot dogs and Diet 7-Up (I was drinking Diet 7-UP???), but despite the stresses and out-of-my-control situations, it was a good time. YEAH! But now that I’m back there a lot of stuff to cover, so let’s go at it one at a time…
First of all, happy belated Canada Day to all my Canuck brethren and happy Fourth of July to all our American cousins! I hope everyone had/will have a good time.
Next on my “To Do” List, I want to sincerely thank Lauragorn and TN for taking over the site during my absence and keeping stuff alive with their own goofy takes on Gluemeatdom and beyond. You two of you really were life savors, because otherwise I don’t know how I would have pulled off the last thirty days. I’m sure Gluemeaties everywhere enjoyed the Deadmeats, as did I. They worked really hard and pulled off some great stuff (”Dancing For Dahlers” is a keepsake) and I cannot thank them enough for keeping up the pace with some totally weird stuff. I’ll keep you good folks posted on their upcoming project, Ripe For Parody the minute they fill me with news.
And speaking of TN, during my absence our chap here got married. Yes, he went and took the big plunge and wed his long-time girlfriend in what was said to be a lovely ceremony. Allow me to take a moment here to congratulate the newlyweds and wishing them a good and happy life together. HUZZAH!
Also, there’s this amazing new Safetypin and Annulee art over in the Meatgrinds section; have you seen it?
And by the way, I purchased Beck’s Guero album in special edition format, and it was SO much worth the extra cash for that amazing re-mix of Broken Drum by Boards of Canada. Just in case you were wondering.
Okay, I’ll have more to chat about on Wednesday. Until then, keep reaching for the stars!
YAY! CASE IS BACK! BLUE IS BACK IN THE RETARD SEAT! IT’S 7 FRIGGIN’ AM AND I HAVE TO GO TO WORK! WHY AM I SHOUTING?
welcome back, dork. How did oranges hair grow back so quickly ? :p
Continuity is for manga comics.
Shouldn’t that be “hand” and lettuce conundrum?
As to orange’s hair growing back, mebbe he was wearing a wig, to protect his secret identity and all. What I really want to know is how they escaped. (or was that explained in French?)
Continuity is for differentiable functions.
