It’s news time, fellow Gluemeaties!

Yes indeed, it’s been quite a dramatic time here at the Yorke household with our lovely, egregious, and bombastic iMac out of the home on repairs. I always have my trusty iBook on back-up in situations like this but, gosh people, let me tell you: dropping from a 17-inch widescreen to a 12-inch one which runs on OS9… it takes you down a couple of pegs. The enthusiasm just isn’t there. Especially since the program I used to put Gluemeat together is a little buggy on the iBook, so it makes it harder. But, I still delivered a few comics like the honest, trustworthy trooper I am, despite the fact that my girlfriend had a paper to hand in, so we were both fighting over computer time, which has never happened since the iMac’s been in, obviously.

So, yeah, I’m real glad my computer is back. Problem? Video card was messed up and has now been replaced. How long with this hold? Let’s talk about it again in a couple of months.

About the countdown counter, it started bugging just a few days before the iMac went bye-bye, and it was just a pain to try and do any kind of HTML on the iBook, so it’s all my procrastinating heart’s fault. Had I repaired it from the get-go, you wouldn’t have had to suffer like you all did. But now it’s working.

Now, I know you want me to talk about today’s comic, but it’s late, and I’m tired, and… well… I have no real excuses,. I just want to stretch it out till Wednesday. You know, because I can. Yeah, love me.
