Yes, yes it does. Should've mentioned that myself really...

But consider that may be part of the joke? How not only is he saying absolutely nothing, but it's actually a redundant statement at the same time?

Or perhaps he's stressing redundant statements in general or perhaps trying to point out they're pointless?

Yeu could really go into quite alot more depth than one really should in considering it. Kind of like english class.

Hate english classes, ever notice how they do that? Something's interesting and good, and then they force yeu to become a deconstructionist and tear it apart, studying each aspect until yeu hate the previously good book?

Rise up and destroy english classes! Go on strike for them and read the very books they want yeu to but refuse to see any meaning in them at all! Speak out of context, or at the very least embrace pharisaism.

Or just be lazy and don't do book reports anymore I guess. Whotever.

Laughing out loud. Literally. Something that does not happen very often. Case has a terrific grasp of the esoteric.

And doesn't "soba" mean "buckwheat noodles" anyway?

It's stupid... pointless... in fact the text portion of the comic really is completely of no relevance to the comic in any fashion at all.

And yet somehow it's one of the best in the archives.

Just something oddly funny about it for no apparant reason why. Is it the fact that Buckwheat Soba Noodles is such a pointless, random phrase? Or is it just the 3 panel leadup to the ending climax which's more or less just... there.

THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW!

We now return yeu to yeur regularly schedueled puppy in a blender.

I put in some styling tags to make the background a bright yellow, but it didn't work. I think the comments form filters out clever HTML as a spam precaution

He looks so devious!

I cannot emphasize <i>that</i> enough.

Wait, I can:
