Well, fellow Gluemeaties, you all made very good guesses as to who the man in panel four in yesterday’s comic was, but no one really came close (especially you Dan… “me in a beard…” come on!). The man we were looking for was 19th century socialist, working man’s friend, and friend to Karl Marx, George Julian Harney. So when Blue said “they” were watching him, he meant THE SOCIALISTS. Ooooh…! Thank you all for playing!
On a related note, I just wanted to note that Tasteful Future, my weblog project which I am bringing to life with fellow Gluemeat readers TN and Gemini6Ice, was linked by two major Leftie news sites, buzzflash.com and whatreallyhappened.com, thanks to this little opinionated post I wrote. Of course, many conservatives are all for homocide. And, no, that’s not a spelling error.
I recently saw a diagram of a so-called “partial birth abortion.” Apparently fetal dissection is part of the process. It seemed very gruesome. Icky.
And by recently saw a diagram of, unless you were on a reputable website….you probably didn’t actually see one at all. Did you know that most of the pictures that pro-lifers use as pictures of abortions are actually miscarriages. You might have seen some kind of manipulation of that. Depending on whether or not you were on a pro-choice or pro-life website.
I was actually on a “post gross pictures!!ELEVEN” image board.
Also, I prefer the terms “anti-choice” and “anti-life.” I’m a pessimist.
If we base the decision on whether abortion is acceptable on how gruesome it is, then Nazi death chambers are A-OK.
Not that I’m opposed to death chambers, it’s just that there are way more people out there than just jews, slavs, and gypsies. Hitler was short-sighted.
I didn’t say the illustration changed my opinion. I think many surgeries are gruesome.
