Hello fellow Gluemeaties! This is a most special news item because it is the first one which I have written with the help of Apple’s Pages, the word processing software from the all new iWork package which I purchased today. As of now, it’s very smooth and smart. Guess in a couple of weeks I’ll be able to let you know if I dump Word for good or not.
Firstly, allow me to point you in the direction of this edition of Achewood. It’s one of the funniest comics I have seen in a long, long time. The humour of it really comes through once you mouseover the comic to read Chris Onstad’s note in the tooltip:
“No, I don’t know who any of these characters are. I just took some screenshots at Keenspot.”
HA!
Not to spread discontent around and make you all feel bad and, you know… stuff… but I am planning something rather big for the 500th comic. It won’t be a multi-part story like I’ve done for a few other occasions, but a single stand-alone with something rather astonishing taking place. Trust me, it should blow your mind…
More from the IM logs:
Belial310: I once dreamed I was an exorcist
Moko No Swallow: really?
Moko No Swallow: how did it go for you?
Belial310: I had to kill my friend’s grandma with a shotgun
Moko No Swallow: so it was eventful?
Belial310: and a crucifix and some holywater
Belial310: because yknow, the shotgun didn’t take
Belial310: I’d say so
Belial310: I mean, since I really only have Jason Miller and Max von Sydow to look to
Belial310: for comparisson
Belial310: course they didn’t resort to the shotgun
Belial310: but both of them died
Belial310: so
Belial310: I guess I win
Moko No Swallow: though, if you started up with a shotgun, i have to say, and don’t take this personally, but you’re a pretty sucky exorcist.
This could be you! All you have to do is point your favourite instant messenger to one of these addresses:

Diane Grape…
My boyfriend can make you disappear, and he can make you disappear!
I think I saw number nine at the inaugural ball.
Nothing’s gonna change my world…
(Yeah, I know it’s a Beatles cover, but her version is at the right pace)
