The Christmas Holiday Humdrum 3.5 (Part 10)

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen! The final chapter in this epic ten-part edition of the Gluemeat Christmas Holiday Humdrum, the last comic of 2004, and a conclusion which will probably tick a few of you off. After all, I hit the reset button as cheaply as a Bobby-Ewing-in-the-shower scene. I’ll admit it, it’s cheap, but I like it. And you have to admit, it’s in perfect Gluemeat style, too. But, please, go ahead and comment it, let me know what you think.

I hope you’re all having a good time with the Holidays. I know I am, despite the arm killing me. I don’t like these new painkillers I’ve been prescribed; they make me too sleepy. Hopefully, I’ll be able to stay up long enough to enjoy New Year’s Eve. Otherwise, Christmas was a lot of fun, with good times, good gifts, and lots of food. Speaking of gifts, my girlfriend totally surprised me by giving me the Pee-Wee’s Playhouse seasons one and two DVD box set. It sure was nice to be able to watch the unrelenting silliness of a show which has yet to be equalled by anything done since. I actually talk about it more in the weblog.

So folks, I hope you get to put behind you more good memories than bad events tonight as we toss 2004 into the annals of man-made time management. Or, as Boxjam eloquently put it: Death To 2004!

See you in next year!

First: If you are interested in reading lots of pointless drama-y ness, go look at yesterday’s comments section, where I replied to a personal attack made on me by a certain click, with whom I hope I am reconciled.

Second: Not as awesome as it would have been had blue said demonic, but the lack of awesomness there is made up for by the fact that orange is able, in his long-windedness, to portray himself as scared of blue, and to admit that blue might feel like that. They have a very interesting relationship, and I like that it is being developed more. Is more subtle than leaving blue as a demon, but now that I think of it it’s prolly better. Maybe Orange isn’t just a witty, pompous ass after all? We shall see.

Well Case I loved it. Great story! I don’t care if the ending was cheap - I thought it was ace :D

  8. by Sarah:

Is that what happened to Orange’s uncle to give him white hair? Or is that another story …

I didn’t think it was a cheap ending. sure, I saw it coming a mile away, but it was a better way to end something completely ludacris than any of the other alternatives would’ve been. a dream would’ve been lame, but him telling the story of this story isn’t bad. kinda like adaptation, only with fictional charactors.
