Gluemeat

So let there be a fourth year of Gluemeat!

Indeed, folks, this week marks the third anniversary of my little waste of bandwidth, making its way full-force into its fourth year of existence like respiratory disease through a chain smoker and his live-in family. So we kick off the week with the new Gluemeat website right here, right now.

As I mentioned to you, I wanted the site to give viewers the chance to get as much information in with as little clicks as possible, like, for instance, being able to check out the news right on the front page. Or how about the Glueboard up there in the upper-left corner? A fine replacement to a discussion area, wouldn’t you agree? Not that I want the comic commenting to become obsolete, au contraire! Continue on with your comments on the comics, they’re my lifeblood. At least we all have another space to shoot the breeze.

In reality, I wanted Gluemeat.com to have more of a portal feel to it, since there are many different “sections” to the comic, like Safetypin comics and the Always Sparkle storyline. I felt it would be right for readers to access them with ease. And while I have very different ideas now concerning the direction of Gluemeat than I did a year ago, I’m going to save that very discussion for the actual anniversary update which will be this coming Friday. In the meantime, get accustomed to the new site and I hope you keep enjoying the main reason why the lot of you come around here thrice-weekly.
