Evenin’ everybody! Aplogies for the lateness for the new comic, but it’s still Monday… so technically it’s NOT LATE. Mwaha! Time is on my side!
I had a pretty big weekend, which accounts for the comic’s lateness. I’m still desperately waiting for my iMac. I was really hoping it would come in today, but no dice. Boo!
I know a few of you have written me emails, and I will get around to answering them tonight. Promise-omise.
Have a great week everyone!

I was watching the American presidential debate tonight. Man, Kerry smoked Bush like a whore on a crackpipe. I’ll be interested to see how the American media cover the results tomorrow. I’ll be interested to hear how Fox News will try to be fair and balanced.
So… the Montreal Expos played their last game Wednesday night. They are now leaving Montreal and heading to Washington for next season. Most of the people of the city don’t care. Most Canadians don’t care. I mean, after all, it’s baseball, one of the most boring sports to be played on a professional level (sorry baseball fans, but it’s true). There were something like 30 000 people for the last game but, damn, I’m sure these were people were there with their hearts filled of the great memories of the daysof Gary Carter, Andre Dawson, Tim Raines, Delano DeShields… the Expos, as they were, about twenty years ago; not the sorry excuse for a MLB franchise it had turned into over the past few years. That’s where the Expos memories come from. But, one good thing is that Youppi, the Expos mascot will become the city of Montreal’s mascot for its sports endeavours and programs. Which is awesome. Anyone my age who was raised in the province of Quebec remembers Youppi being bigger than Ronald McDonald. He was everywhere: on TV, on billboards, in comic books, on children’s programming - dude, this guy was a star. Every kid loved Youppi, and he’s unfortunately been phased out these past few years. I think he still has some kicks in him, so you just watch him go, promoting sports right and left. 2005 will be the Year of Youppi!
I’m still anxiously waiting my iMac. Apple says it will be shipped on or before October 5. Yum yum, it tastes so good when it’s so close! A guy at the office got his, so I actually was able to see it in person. It wasn’t actually helpful in curving them pesky cravings I’ve been having recently to operate a brand spaking new workhorse of a machine. It did the exact opposite. Oh well, only a few days to wait…
Listen to this song. It’s SO great: it’s called Sleep by a band named Treewave. They also have a web site, if you can believe that.
Enjoy your weekend like it was my own.
