Baking Soda

Meaty.

Hello fellow Gluemeaties! Hope you all had a good weekend and thank you for checking back in again today. I always appreciate your patronage.

I’ve made a complete and utter fanboy out of myself on Sunday watching a Doctor Who marathon on BBC Kids. Since 10 am I’ve been enjoying 40 episodes of Doctor Who’s Tom Baker era, realising just how simple it can be to make good TV, and how much we settle for so little nowadays. Sure, the effects are primitive, the costumes simple and obvious, and production is a little on the cheap side, but in terms of content and acting it is nigh-impossible to find its equivalent on TV today.

I’ve realised that many of my favourite comics are either sporadically updating or aren’t updating at all, which terribly stinks. Although, I am happy that Men In Hats is keeping up rather well, among others, I’ve got to the point where I am ready to add new comics to my reading list. I’m more than open to all your suggestions, fellow Gluemeaties, so please point me into the direction of fun! Tell me about any comics I may not know about that you think I may like!

DAN BEESTON FUN FACT: Dan does not eat Vegemite.
