Birthday (Part 3)

Meaty.

It’s the final day of the first week of the Gluemeat anniversary. Indeed, we part these happy days with deep sorrow, yet we must remember the laughs.casebitebutch.jpg Ah, indeed, the laughs: synoymous with good times, antagonistic to cruelty, wholly unlike fish. Thank you all for celebrating this week. More celebrating will come… next year.

A few days after Halloween, I got something in the mail. And that thing in the mail was my highly anticipated Chopping Block’s Butch plush doll. I was really excited, because Chopping Block has always been one of my favourite comics and Lee Herold is probably my best comic buddy. I was happy I could show my support by purchasing this great piece of merchandise. I mean, is there anything really cooler than to have to own personal mini serial killer, all soft and cushy, keeping a cold, calculating yet cuddly eye on everything happening around you? It makes everyone green with envy. Or is it white with fear? Same difference, right? Nevertheless, I’ve been since spending most of my free time having Butch beating the hell out of the other toys of my collection.

I have been the lucky recipient of more anniversary art! Esh of Esh By Esh has turned Blue and Orange into geeks! I actually like Orange with glasses. And hearing Blue talk Geekspeak is just perfect. Thanks Esh!

And just before I bug out, Eric Toffey over at Sauce has this hilarious story going involving a zombie Paris Hilton. It’s terribly funny and well worth your time.

    Though I love the very random and sometimes extremely abstract gags you do week to week case, I also very much love these little slices of Gluemeat story and continuance… so in the end, just keep up the good work.
